This 20 Kyats banknote from the Central Bank of Myanmar pairs traditional Burmese guardian symbolism with a well-known Yangon landmark. The obverse carries the Chinthe leogryph, the mythic lion figure standing watch at Burmese temple entrances, while the reverse presents the tiered Elephant Fountain in People’s Park.
