Overview
A set of eight uncirculated North Korean banknotes – 5000, 2000, 1000, 500, 200 and 100 Won, plus 10 and 5 Chon. The Won notes show the Arch of Triumph, Mount Paektu, magnolias and traditional houses, and several carry commemorative overprints for the 70th anniversary of the republic (1948–2018); the two Chon notes are 1988 foreign-exchange certificates. Together the eight notes carry a face value of 8,800 Won and 15 Chon.

2. 2000 Won – 2008 issue, 70th anniversary overprint (1948–2018)
- Front: A log cabin among pine forest with the national emblem and the commemorative overprint “70th anniversary of the founding of the Republic (1948–2018)”, on a blue-grey note
- Back: Mount Paektu with its snow-capped ridge above a forested lake, on a blue note

3. 1000 Won – 2008 issue, 70th anniversary overprint (1948–2018)
