Overview
A set of two uncirculated banknotes of the Kyrgyz Republic – 50 and 10 Tyiyn, 1993. These small notes were issued when Kyrgyzstan introduced its own currency after independence from the Soviet Union. Each front shows a golden eagle in a circular ornament, and each back a sun-and-flower rosette. Together the two notes carry a face value of 60 Tyiyn.

Collector Value:
Early independence-era Kyrgyz notes in bright colours – tyiyn are the hundredth part of a som, so these are small, collectible subunits for a Central Asian collection.
