This is a circulated commemorative 5 Rupees coin from the Republic of India, issued in 2011 to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. This brass-plated stainless steel coin honors a prominent Indian nationalist leader, educationist, and an important figure in the Indian independence movement.

- Reverse: Displays the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, with “सत्यमेव जयते” (Satyameva Jayate) inscribed below. The words “भारत” (Bharat) in Hindi and “INDIA” in English are present, along with the symbol of the Indian Rupee “₹” above the numeral “5”. “रूपये” (Rupaye) in Hindi and “RUPEES” in English are inscribed on either side of the numeral.
