Overview
A set of two uncirculated banknotes of the Banque du Liban – 5,000 and 1,000 Livres. Both notes carry the Lebanese cedar tree and bold geometric designs; the 1000 Livres includes the ancient Phoenician alphabet, a nod to Lebanon’s heritage as the home of the Phoenician script. Together the two notes carry a face value of 6,000 Livres.
