Overview
A set of two uncirculated banknotes of the Banco Central de Honduras – 2 Lempiras and 1 Lempira, both dated 7 April 2022. The currency is named after Lempira, the indigenous leader who resisted the Spanish conquest and who is shown on the 1 Lempira. The backs show the volcano and port of Amapala and the Mayan ruins of Copán. Together the two notes carry a face value of 3 Lempiras.
