This is a circulated commemorative 5 Rupees coin from the Republic of India, issued between 2007 and 2008 to celebrate the birth centenary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. This stainless steel coin honors a prominent Indian revolutionary and socialist who played a significant role in India’s independence movement.

- Obverse: Features a portrait of Shaheed Bhagat Singh wearing his iconic hat. The inscription “शहीद भगत सिंह जन्मशती” (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Janmashati) in Hindi and “SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH BIRTH CENTENARY” in English are present along the periphery. Below the portrait are the years “1907-2007”.
- Reverse: Displays the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, with “सत्यमेव जयते” (Satyameva Jayate) inscribed below. The words “भारत” (Bharat) in Hindi and “INDIA” in English are present, along with the symbol of the Indian Rupee “₹” above the numeral “5”. “रूपये” (Rupaye) in Hindi and “RUPEES” in English are inscribed on either side of the numeral.
