Overview

This is a complete, matched set of the Central Bank of Jordan’s new banknote series – the first full redesign of Jordan’s currency since 2002. The series was introduced from the end of 2022 and phased in during 2023, and every note in this set is dated 2022 (AH 1443). Together the five notes form a portrait gallery of the Hashemite dynasty – the four Kings of Jordan and Sharif Hussein bin Ali – paired with Jordan’s best-known landscapes and monuments. All five notes are in UNC (uncirculated) condition and are the exact notes pictured.
