Overview
A set of two uncirculated banknotes of the Transnistrian Republican Bank – 5 Rubles (1994) and 1 Ruble (2007). Both notes carry the portrait of Field Marshal Alexander Suvorov, the national hero of the region. The 5 Rubles is an early 1994 “coupon” issue printed in blue, and the 1 Ruble is from the 2007 series in warm brown tones. Together the two notes carry a face value of 6 Transnistrian Rubles.
